Playing in front of a crowd of thousands of  people is every high school athlete’s dream. The North Attleboro Boys’ Basketball team will have this opportunity when they play their league rival, Milford, at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence on January 31st.

The team’s head coach, Mr. Mulkerrins, said, “The game will be an exciting opportunity for the team, the coaches, and the Rowdy Crowd.”

To get to Providence, the team is currently trying to raise money through various fundraisers to pay for the event. One such event is a Trivia Night and silent auction on Sunday, November 22nd from 4-8 PM at the Chieftain Pub in Plainville. Winners of the Trivia Night will get cash prizes, and the auction prizes include a Tom Brady autograph.  The cost is $10, and you must be 21 or older to attend.

Tickets for the Trivia Night will be on sale on November 19th during parent conferences, and can be purchased at the door. All money raised will go towards the basketball team’s upcoming tournament at the Dunkin Donuts Center.

The Team is also raising money by using a Go Fund Me page. You can make donations on the website: https://www.gofundme.com/496fuk9m.

Tickets for the game will cost $12 if you buy them from a player or a coach, and they cost $15 at the door. Tickets will go on sale once the basketball season begins.

The fundraising will be used to pay for the team’s entrance fee, the cheerleaders entrance fee, and the transportation costs.

Even though the season hasn’t started yet, the team is already looking forward to this game. Senior Captain Ridge Olsen added, “We are all looking forward to the game. It will be a great experience.”
